Overview
KeepCount is designed with privacy in mind. Your counting data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. This policy explains what data is collected by third-party services integrated into the app.
Data Storage
Local-First Design: All your counters, boards, and activity history are stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data is never uploaded to any server. Your counting data remains private and under your control.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device.
Subscription Management (RevenueCat)
KeepCount Pro subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat, a third-party service that manages in-app purchases. When you subscribe to KeepCount Pro, RevenueCat may collect:
- Anonymous device identifiers
- Purchase history and subscription status
- App usage data related to subscription features
RevenueCat does not have access to your counter data, board layouts, or activity history. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Advertising (Free Version)
The free version of KeepCount displays promotional banners for other apps. These banners are self-served and do not use third-party ad networks or tracking. No personal data is collected or shared for advertising purposes.
Upgrading to KeepCount Pro removes all promotional content for an ad-free experience.
Analytics
KeepCount does not use any analytics or tracking services. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or behavioral information.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. The only data shared with third parties is the subscription-related information processed by RevenueCat as described above.
Children's Privacy
KeepCount does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and contains no features that specifically target children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
