System counter controls are included free for accessible counters. Available placements and configuration controls depend on the device and OS.

How to do it
Prepare the counter
In KeepCount, give the counter a clear label and set its type and increment. A short distinctive label helps when selecting it in a system picker.
Add a Control Center button
Open Control Center and enter editing. Choose Add a Control, find KeepCount’s Add to Counter, and place it. Configure its Counter to the one you prepared.
Try the selected action
Leave editing and activate the control once. Open KeepCount and check the result on the correct board.
Use a Lock Screen control on iPhone
On systems that let you replace Lock Screen controls, customize your Lock Screen and replace one of its bottom controls with KeepCount’s Add to Counter. Select the intended counter in its configuration.
This is a system control, separate from the Home Screen Board widget. Lock Screen editing and authentication rules belong to iOS; placements can differ by OS and device.
The action follows the counter
For a Count Down counter, the numerical action subtracts instead of adding. With no explicit amount, the counter’s configured step is used. The name Add to Counter does not override that counter setting.
The control is a numerical action. Unlike an Enter Number tile in a Board widget, it does not provide an inline keypad. Use a Count Up or Count Down counter for a predictable quick button.
Common questions
Can I use several controls?
You can configure controls for different accessible counters where the system provides room. Give each target a distinct label.
