A workout board and counter customization are free within the three-board allowance. This is manual counting; KeepCount does not detect movement or time rests.

How to do it
Create a workout board
Make or rename a board for the session. Use the layout gear and plus button to arrange the counters you need.
Choose what a tap means
Label counters Sets, Reps, or Laps. For completed sets, use Count Up with starting value 0 and step 1. For ten sets remaining, use Count Down with a starting value of 10.
Record at a consistent moment
Tap Sets after completing each set. If recording a known rep total, use Enter Number or a configured step instead of guessing how many times you tapped.
Finish the session
Check the total before resetting. Copy Layout & Labels for another session when you have room for a new board.
Example: four sets of eight
- Sets: Count Up, start 0, step 1; tap after each set.
- Completed reps: Count Up, start 0, step 8; tap once after each full set.
- After four completed sets: Sets 4, Completed reps 32.
Illustrative setup; use your own labels and starting values.
Pick one counting convention
A step of 8 works only if every completed set contains eight reps. When a set is shorter, enter the actual total or correct the counter through the hold menu.
Make the tile you use most large enough to tap easily. A single clearly labeled set counter can be more useful than a crowded board of numbers you will not record.
Separate a tally from a training log
Pro activity history records counter events, but it is not a workout program or a fitness analysis report. Keep weights, rest times, and other session details in your usual training record if you need them.
A Home Screen widget or an Action Button Shortcut can target the same local tally. Test it before the session and verify changes in the app.
Common questions
Can KeepCount detect reps automatically?
No. You record the events manually or run a counting action.
