Inventory tallies are free within your board allowance. KeepCount is a local manual counter, without barcode scanning, shared stock sync, or stock alerts.

How to do it
Define the unit
Label a counter Boxes, Loose items, or Packs of six. Choose one unit per tally rather than mixing packages and individual items.
Set its behavior
For a physical stock check, choose Count Up, start 0, and step 1. For remaining stock, choose Count Down and set the known starting quantity.
Count a known group first
Try one small group and compare the displayed result. Set a larger step only when every tap consistently represents that many items.
Reconcile the final total
Compare the tally with your stock record. Enter an exact corrected number when needed, then save any required external record before resetting.
Example: packing 40 kits
- Kits remaining: Count Down, starting value 40, step 1.
- After seven kits are packed: 33 remain.
- Reset restarts at 40; number entry can correct the current total without treating it as a new session.
Illustrative setup; use your own labels and starting values.
Use bundles without losing the unit
For sealed packs of six, a step-6 Count Up counter can track individual units. Keep loose pieces on a separate step-1 counter, then combine the totals in your external stock record.
KeepCount does not automatically sum separate counters or validate a warehouse balance. A clear label and a test tap are your safeguards against a mistaken unit.
One device, one working tally
Two people counting on different devices have separate local boards. Agree on sections to count independently and reconcile afterward; do not expect a live shared stock total.
Count Down is not a low-stock warning or a promise to prevent a negative count. Verify your remaining value at handoff, and keep your source stock record separately.
Common questions
Can I scan barcodes?
The public counting workflow is manual. Barcode scanning and an inventory database are not advertised features.
